171-19D10-Cavalry Scout (HMMWV) TATS MOS-Training (MOS-T)

This course is structured in phases (Phase 1 and Phase 2), modules, and lessons.

The course consists of 75 hours of Distance Learning (dL) for Phase 1, conducted over a period of 6 months (nonresident) or conducted in five days (resident), and the Active Duty for Training (ADT) Phase 2, conducted during an annual training period.

dL - Phase 1 includes training in Map Reading, Urban Operations, Reconnaissance Skills, and Equipment Skills. Phase 1 is completed by the individual student at home, at their unit under the guidance of a National Guard instructor, or at the RTI in which the student will be attending Phase 2. Phase 1 must be completed prior to in processing for Phase 2.

Phase 2 includes training in Weapons, Communications, Scout Skills, Vehicle Specific HMMWV skills, and the Field Training Exercise (FTX).  Phase 2 can be conducted at any training site with suitable facilities. The Soldier participates in training in an Active Duty for Training (ADT) status.

171-19D30- Cavalry Scout BNCOC Phase 2, and 3

This course is structured train Cavalry Scout Section/Squad Leaders to be technically and tactically proficient in skill level three tasks in order to guard, screen, gather intelligence, maintain, train, and sustain the section/team and to perform duties of the Scout Section Sergeant/Team Leader in a Cavalry/Armor Unit.

Phase 2 consists of 60 Program of Instruction (POI) hours of Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) delivered on the Internet.  The Soldier may participate in training at a place and time of their choosing.
Phase 3 consists of 129 POI hours of Small Group Instruction (SGI) and includes a Situational Training Exercise (STX).  The Soldier participates in training in an Active Duty for Training (ADT) status.

809-0-11/19-C46- Maneuver Senior Leaders Course

This course is structured in phases (Phase 1, Phase 2), modules, and lessons.

This course is performance and knowledge oriented and designed to train Soldiers selected for promotion/promoted to Sergeant First Class (SFC) in CMFs 11/19 to acquire the leader, technical and tactical skills, knowledge, and experience needed to train, fight and sustain a platoon in the contemporary operating environment and to perform duties of a Platoon Sergeant in an Armor/Infantry/Cavalry unit.

TATS-C Maneuver Senior Leader Course (M-SLC) is a 4-week two phased course. Phase 1 consists of approximately 50 hours of Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) delivered on the Internet. The Soldier may participate in training at a place and time of his choosing. Phase 2 consists of approximately 200 hours of Small Group Instruction (SGI) and includes Maneuver Common (Training / Education combining the CMF 11 and CMF 19 in the same learning environment) and MOS Specific Training / Education in an Active Duty for Training (ADT) status.

171-19K30- Abrams Armor Crewman BNCOC Phase 2, and 3

This course is structured in 3 phases Phase 1 consist of Stand Alone Common Core developed by the United States Sergeant Major Academy (USASMA). Phase 2 is distributed Learning (includes FBCB2 BFT) delivered over the internet. Phase 3 is resident phase two week Active Duty for Training (ADT).

To train Armor crewmen tank commanders to be technically and tactically proficient in skill level three tasks; thus, enabling him to fight, maintain, train, and sustain the tank crew and to perform the duties of a tank commander in an Armor/Cavalry Unit.

Phase 2 consists of 62 Program of Instruction (POI) hours of Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) delivered on the Internet.  The Soldier may participate in training at a place and time of their choosing.

Phase 3 consists of 126 POI hours of Small Group Instruction (SGI) and includes a Situational Training Exercise (STX).  The Soldier participates in training in an Active Duty for Training (ADT) status.
