11B ALC

The Advanced Leader Course is divided into two phases. Phase I is Common Leader Training, which is the same for all MOS's. Phase I is completed through on line training. Your unit will designate your attendance to the course. Phase II is the Technical Track for 11B MOS and has its own prerequisites and program of instruction. All courses are designed to teach skill level 2/3/4 tasks. It is your responsibility to have mastered skill level one tasks before attending ALC.

You will find the course to be challenging and very rewarding. The curriculum is demanding and constantly updated with current doctrine and technical advances. Therefore, your ideas are highly encouraged and recommended. You will receive instruction in the following courses (not limited to): Land Navigation, weapons immersion, squad and platoon level leadership, tactical maneuver, military decision making process and other courses designed to enhance your base knowledge of infantry skills and tactics.

Upon completion of the 11B Advanced Leader Course, you will be positioned to assume a greater role within your unit as a small unit tactical trainer and preparing you for a future assignment as an Infantry Platoon Sergeant.
